Fleeting Time

The “Fleeting Time” Cup & Saucer is inspired by the way years leave a quiet patina on metal and stone. The surface of the cup is finished with a deep, charcoal glaze that breaks into subtle metallic highlights, like an old camera body or a well-worn watch case. On the table, the matching mat (saucer) holds the cup like a shadow, turning everyday coffee into a small ceremony.

Each piece is wheel-thrown pottery, then coated with a special ore-infused glaze and fired at high temperature. During firing, the minerals in the clay and glaze react with the flame, creating fine, irregular mottling and a soft sheen that looks different from every angle. No two cups age—or fire—exactly the same, so every one you receive is slightly unique, like a moment in time that won’t repeat.
